Ballot Z Initiative Aims to get Generation Z to the Polls

Syracuse University student Gretchen Coleman knows something about organizing her peers. The Palatine resident was one of a group of teens who organized a March for Our Lives in Schaumburg in 2018. She followed that up by working on Maggie Trevor's 2018 campaign for the 54th District, and working for U.S. Rep Sean Casten last year. This year she created Ballot Z, an initiative to help the Chicago area's Generation Z get ballots and vote in the 2020 election. On the Ballot Z website, young people can find all the information they need from how to register to vote, to requesting a mail-in ballot, to finding their polling place--all in one location. You can help by sharing Ballot Z with all your friends on social media! We need our youngest voters at the ballot box!
