Vote Yes on Forest Preserve Referendum

Did you know that the Cook County forest preserves are visited more than 62 million times every year? That's more than EIGHT TIMES the visitors to our nation's most popular national park! We need to protect this precious resource. This election, Cook County voters have the chance to protect our forest preserves--including our water sources, air quality and wildlife habitat -- by approving a property tax increase of 0.025%. That amounts to less than $1.66/month for the vast majority of homeowners – a very small price to protect, restore, and expand our forest preserves, ensuring cleaner air and drinking water and reduced flooding.  Approval of this ballot referendum would ensure the next generation of Cook County residents can experience nature and the same quality of life. On November 8, Vote YES for Clean Air, Clean Water, and Wildlife on the back of your ballot. To learn more how to get involved, please visit: please visit https://www.voteyesforestpreserves.org/
