Heads Up--we are heading into a major battle to flip the 26th Senate District, and we will need all hands on deck. Most of Palatine Township is in the 26th Senate District, and it has been held by a Republican since the Civil War. State Representative Nabeela Syed is running for the 26th Senate Seat. She has been the State Representative for the 51st District for four years, and in that time has proven that she is working to make life better for everyone by lowering prescription medicine costs, expanding the senior tax freeze, voting for major state investments in education and infrastructure, and cracking down on AI surveillance pricing. However, the Republican incumbent state senator votes against abortion and contraception and is funded by members of far-right extremist groups like the book-banning Moms for Liberty.
