It's Juneteenth Movie Night at the GPAD offices. Juneteenth is a state holiday, marking June 19th, the date in 1865 when Union troops issued the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas. This year, GPAD will screen "Selma," a 2014 film by Ava DuVernay based on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches.
