Celebrate Independence Day and the ideas of equality, civil liberty and government by and for the people. Wear your patriotic Democratic shirts, hats and pins. Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes. We have several banners that need carrying.

Meet at Rolling Meadows High School parking lot -- enter at the Jay Lane (east) entrance. Do not enter at the tennis courts. No parking in the high school's front parking lot, but parking is available  at the RMHS back lot, street parking, Park Central or at Conyer's Academy, on the north side of Central. Restrooms are open at the Park Central facility. The high school building will not be open.

The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. sharp. This year the parade will end at Kimball Hill School on Meadow Drive. The City of Rolling Meadows is sponsoring a free, post-parade party at the Jewel Shopping Center, in front of Rep's Place, 3200 Kirchoff Road, from 1 to 8 p.m.
