This Regime is trying to erase the LGBTQIA+ community by attacking trans people. Some local officials are going along, trying to pretend it's not an issue. Join GPAD as we walk in the 2026 Buffalo Grove Pride Parade to protest sustained attacks on the LGBTQ community! We are proud to be sponsors of this event. Here is an opportunity to step up, stand up, and speak out for freedom for everyone to love who they love and celebrate who they are. We need help carrying banners and handing out rainbow-handled donkey fans! Plus, the BG Pride Parade is super fun! 

We are number 66--we are being Daniel Biss for Congress and in front of Elk Grove Township Indivisible. Please plan on meeting us between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. at the staging area on Buffalo Grove Road south of Aptakisic (There is a Walgreens on the southeast corner of Buffalo Grove Road and Aptakisik.)

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. We need four volunteers to carry banners. And, if you like, you can bring your own posters. Please keep signs full of positive messaging. "Love is love," and "Equality for all" are examples. We also will be handing out our rainbow donkey fans and Pride stickers.

Parking: You can park in the neighborhoods around the parade route. From the organizers:

Option 1: From Arlington Heights Road and Thompson Blvd, drive east toward the parade route and choose any of the neighborhood streets for parking. Good choices are Brandywyn, Green Knolls and Caren. You can also enter at Aptakisic and Brandywyn or McHenry Road and Devlin

Option 2: From Old Checker Road and Buffalo Grove Road, or from Arlington Heights Road and Alden Lane. You can park on Ridgefield, Shady Grove, and Silver Rock, then walk east and north to the staging area on Buffalo Grove Road south of Aptakisic.
