In the summer of 2018, I received a postcard from a nice, random Democrat in California, urging me to vote in the midterms. It was so cheery! It connected

me to other Concerned Citizens around the country, with a "We Can Do This!" attitude. In fact, recent history shows that voters who receive handwritten postcards are significantly more likely to vote.  And we want people to vote! Voters who vote in the primary are much more likely to vote in the general election.  And we need people to vote this November--it's an existential matter, more than just a civic duty.
