Volunteering for GPAD is an Act of Resistance. At this breakfast, we are turbo-charging our volunteer efforts and launching our Candidate Petition Drive: Learn how to collect signatures to help candidates get on the ballot. AND!! Learn how you can help monitor how our local governments are dealing with massive federal cuts. You can count on Illinois having elections-- but we won't be able to vote for our candidates unless we help them collect enough signatures to get on the ballot. Join us at GPAD offices on Saturday, Aug. 9, for an al fresco breakfast, training on how to ask your friends and neighbors for signatures, and learn how you can join our new Board Watchers team. 

CANDIDATES WELCOME!!!! Candidates are more than welcome to attend and introduce yourselves to volunteers as we get Turbo-Charged to collect signatures!!
