Palatine Township: All Seats Are Up for Election in 2021

Palatine Township serves more than 112,000 people. It is one of 29 townships in Cook County.

The races for Palatine Township are partisan races -- the candidate's political party will be listed on the ballot. Currently, every position is held by a Republican. All positions are up for election in 2021 and all are 4-year terms.

Qualifications: Qualifications and Residency Requirements: Registered voter, not in arrears in taxes to the township, or convicted of infamous crime, felony, bribery, or perjury. Need to be resident of the township for at least a year before the election. (Most people who live in the township are also residents of one of the 8 towns that share the geographic area of the township: Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Inverness, Hoffman Estates, South Barrington and Schaumburg.)

The Palatine Township Board meets once a month, and the committee-of-the-whole also meets once a month at Palatine Township Offices, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. The annual schedule of meetings is posted on the Palatine Township website’s calendar:
