U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky!! Headliner for Annual Botterman Breakfast Fundraiser May 18!! Keep the Blue Wave Rolling!

Six months after a record number of women were elected to Congress, and in a year when a record number of highly accomplished women are running for President, this year's Botterman Breakfast will showcase another powerful woman, U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky of Illinois' 9th District. If you want more of the Blue Wave that swept this area last November, you need to attend the May 18 Botterman Breakfast!

In a sign of the rising tide of women in power, this year's Botterman Award goes to DePaul University student Hannah Hyman, who was elected to the Schaumburg Public Library Board two years ago as a senior in high school. Woohoo, Hannah!

The 12th Annual Botterman Breakfast is May 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Chevy Chase Golf Club, 1000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling.
