Help Greater Palatine Area Democrats collect items for Thanksgiving Baskets to donate to Palatine Township's Thanksgiving Food Drive. Many thanks to Melissa Ortega for organizing this. We'll be collecting donations on Saturday, Nov. 6, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at GPAD offices, 1310 W. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. You can sign up for specific items here.

DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS AT THE LIBRARY, ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED.
We are limited to a maximum of 48 total people in the room for the Secretary of State's Forum. If you are not able to sign up, we will be livestreaming the event on the Illinois Sixth District Democrats Facebook page, so please check there for the link to the livestream at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28.
The Illinois Secretary of State's race is the hottest race in 2022! Come meet the candidates in person and learn the issues facing the largest state agency in Illinois.
Greater Palatine Area Democrats is honored to co-host this event with Illinois Sixth Democrats, Wheeling Township Democrats, Elk Grove Township Democrats, Barrington Area Democratic Organization, and NWSOFA-Indivisible. Make sure you sign up to attend, and bring your questions! (If, heaven forbid, we need to switch to Zoom, we'll send all the RSVP'd attendees a link to the event.)
Democratic candidates for other offices are welcome to attend and share your campaign literature. You will have a chance to introduce yourselves at the event.
Summer Issue Canvass Aug. 28, 2021--Help Us Talk to Our Democratic Voters!
My favorite kind of canvassing: We're going out to talk to Democrats!! Join Greater Palatine Area Democrats, the Barrington Township Democratic Organization, and the Illinois Sixth Congressional District Democrats for our late summer Issue and Democrats recruitment canvass. We will speak with strong Democratic voters in our community about the issues and invite them to join the local Democratic Party organization. We will be taking strong COVID social distancing precautions to keep everyone safe. Masks and full vaccination are required. Sign up here!!
