Robin Kelly
Congresswoman Robin Kelly represents Illinois’ Second Congressional District, which stretches from Chicago’s South Side through the south suburbs and into rural counties along the Indiana border. Born in Harlem to parents who owned a grocery store, she earned degrees from Bradley University and Northern Illinois University before beginning her public service career. Yasmeen Bankole
Yasmeen Bankole is a Hanover Park Trustee and former congressional aide. Born in Chicago and raised in Hanover Park, she attended schools in the U-46 School District and graduated from Lake Park High School. She began her career as a public servant at the Schaumburg Township District Library, where she worked for more than a decade. She later served as a congressional aide to Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi and most recently as Regional Director for U.S. Senator Dick Durbin.

Melissa Bean
Former Congresswoman Melissa Bean represented Illinois’ Eighth District from 2004 to 2010. Since leaving Congress, she has held senior leadership roles in the private sector, most recently serving as CEO of Mesirow’s Wealth Management business and previously as Chairman of JPMorgan Chase’s Midwest operations. During her time in Congress, Bean played a key role in drafting major provisions of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and supported legislation including the Affordable Care Act, minimum wage increases, and worker protections. Sanjyot Dunung immigrated to the United States from India as a child and grew up in Des Plaines. Ted Mason has served for the past eight years as Chief of Staff to Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison. With Commissioner Morrison running for Congress, Mason is seeking election to represent the 15th District on the Cook County Board. He also serves as the Democratic Committeeperson for Elk Grove Township and recently helped lead a historic shift on the Elk Grove Township Board. Mason’s priorities include expanding access to mental health care, supporting small businesses in the northwest suburbs, and maintaining responsible, balanced county budgets. The 15th District includes the northern portion of Palatine Township, along with communities stretching from Des Plaines to Hanover Park.
