The 2021 Criminal Justice Reform Omnibus Law is a long-developed and progressive approach to improving the justice system in Illinois. This long-overdue omnibus law package will help stop the downward spiral of families whose lives are touched at all levels by the criminal justice system. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said: "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." Here in Cook County, we are grateful for the progessive approach of our own Cook Co.
